Cookie Policy
Last updated: 21 February 2026
The short version
We do not use browser cookies on this website. No tracking files are placed on your device when you visit ba-beyond.eu.
(We do like actual cookies, though — preferably with a good cup of coffee.)
The full version
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that websites store on your device to remember information about your visit — for example, your login status or preferences. Many websites use them for tracking and advertising.
We don’t.
First-party cookies
BA & Beyond does not set any first-party cookies on this website. We do not track browsing behaviour, create user profiles, or store any information on your device.
Analytics
We use GoatCounter to understand how our website is used. GoatCounter is a privacy-respecting analytics tool that:
- Does not use cookies or any persistent identifiers
- Does not track individual users across sessions or sites
- Collects only aggregated data: page views, referrers, browser type, and country of origin (derived from your IP address, which is never stored)
Because GoatCounter does not place anything on your device, no cookie consent is required for our analytics.
Third-party content
Our website may contain links to, or embed content from, third-party services — such as LinkedIn, YouTube, or our event registration platform (Pretix). When you interact with or visit these services, their own cookie and privacy policies apply. We recommend reviewing those policies before sharing your data.
We aim to limit third-party embeds and load them only where genuinely useful.
What this means for you
- You can browse ba-beyond.eu without any tracking mechanism being activated
- No cookie consent banner is needed, because there is nothing to consent to on our end
- If you follow external links, standard browser behaviour applies (the destination site may use cookies)
