Breaking Barriers, Building Bridges / An Introduction to Enterprise & Business Architecture

Morten Stender & Sabrina Lyhne / Full-day workshop

13 November 2026 / 9:00 – 17:00

About this workshop

Enterprise Architecture is evolving. What was once seen as a specialized discipline focused on standards, governance and heavy frameworks has become a critical business capability for organizations navigating digital transformation, AI adoption, operational excellence and continuous change.

This workshop provides a practical introduction to modern Enterprise Architecture (EA) and Business Architecture (BA), showing how architecture can connect strategy, business operations, information, applications and technology into a coherent picture that supports decision-making and execution.

Participants will learn why successful organizations increasingly use Business Architecture as the business-driven foundation for Enterprise Architecture. Rather than treating business, process, information, application and technology architecture as isolated disciplines, modern architecture practices focus on creating transparency, alignment and insight across the enterprise.

Through practical examples and real-world experiences, the workshop demonstrates how architecture helps organizations prioritize investments, govern AI initiatives, optimize value streams, manage change portfolios and ensure that transformation efforts support strategic objectives.

Whether you are new to architecture or looking to understand how architecture creates business value in practice, this workshop will provide a solid foundation and a practical roadmap for getting started.
