Facilitation Fun! / The Immersive Facilitation Experience

Filip Hendrickx / Full-day workshop

13 November 2026 / 9:00 – 17:00

About this workshop

Effectively facilitating meetings, workshops, and all sorts of conversations has become an essential BA skill. Whether in a formal, well-prepared setting or on the spot, confident facilitation will make the difference between lots of talking with little action and an engaging, even invigorating session with tangible, actionable outcomes.

And as long as AI cannot read the room like we can, facilitation will remain a key human BA skill.

In this immersive workshop, you’ll experience ánd practice first-hand several inclusive collaboration and co-creation techniques that you can apply the next day in a variation of settings with few or many participants.

We’ll discuss when and how to apply these techniques, and their key do’s and don’ts. We’ll also reflect on why they work well.

Fasten your seatbelts and enjoy the ride!

Learnings

  • Facilitation is all about making things easy, from preparation over running the workshop to follow-up.
  • Understand that every setting where two or more people interact is a workshop setting where workshop techniques are relevant and effective.
  • Know what the different steps of and within a workshop entail: preparation, effective execution from check-in to check-out, follow-up.
  • Trust your ability to adapt any facilitation technique to the current setting for optimal results.
  • Distinguish your role as a facilitator from your role as a BA and/or contributor.
  • Where can GenAI make facilitation easier for us and our stakeholders? Where not?
